Video and DVD's

Special thanks to Frank "Nobby" Oates for helping me plug some of the Video Titles missing from my own collection. In the mid-60s with no allegiance to any football club as a youngster "Nobby" and his brother were taken by his Dad on Saturday afternoon’s to whatever they felt was the best game taking place in London that day. Like so many before him the first time they stepped into the Boleyn Ground they fell in love with everything about the club. He recalls the Hammers played their football like school boys with no due care, attack, attack, attack was the order of the day, that's just how it was in those days. Proud of the fact that he has seen some of the truly greats to grace the Upton Park pitch, Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters along with the likes of Brian Dear, Billy Bonds and Trevor Brooking. He was also at West Ham when Manchester United won the League title in 1967, beating his beloved Hammers 6-1, it's funny in a way, not many other club supporters can boast after their team has just been beaten so comprehensively that they were proud of them, but West Ham fans can. He has followed the club all over Europe when he was younger and had the money. He recalls one particular friendly in Helsinki took him and his friends two and half days to get there from London, the things we do for our love, West Ham are much more than a football club, to “Nobby” it's his family.

This section of the website is devoted to the many Videos and DVD's associated with the Hammers.
